July 17, 2023: Missionary Tiktoker

Bom dia friends and family I hope that everyone is doing well! This week was a pretty dang good one, and as each week winds down, we're doing our best to grind every day!

I don't have a ton of stuff to wrote about this week, but I'll give a few highlights!!

MEMBERS
This week we have tried to work a lot more with the members of our branch to help them to bring friends and family to church! We worked with a couple who recently moved in, a few less active families, and a couple really active families also! It's been awesome to get to know them and work with them! Really the members here in Brazil are awesome and I will miss them a lot. This week we also had a trade of branch presidents! It was a great meeting and I'm sure that the new branch president will help us a ton in the work!

TIKTOK
As part of this working with members, one member from our branch works editing videos. Last Sunday they came up to us with the idea to make a social media page of the branch, where we could present the English class, church meetings, and activities! So on Tuesday night we got to make some videos that she is editing for us to become famous on all your local social media sites. ðŸ˜Ž

FEIJOADA
On Saturday this week we showed up to lunch with the members and we found a humongous pot of feijoada waiting for us. Feijoada is a traditional dish of beans with pig ear, ribs, sausage, and whatever other meats they decide to put in. Usually feijoada isn't that uncommon, but the only difference was that this time, the members had prepared more than 30 pounds of it haha. So let's just say we all ate very well haha.

WORK WORK WORK
This week we have been grinding grinding grinding to find the elects here in our area to keep moving forward and upward! Please keep praying for us to find those who are ready to come unto christ and pray for the members that they can share the gospel!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
This week I wanted to share a bit about our priorities and our focus. I read a talk that talked a little bit about our focus and this week I have been trying to apply it. And it has made a huge difference. When I choose to put the other things that I have to worry about behind me, and focus completely on the work, I am happier. I know at home it is a bit harder cause we have to balance our lives with family school work and church, but I can promise that one of these things brings more spiritual happiness, and that is the savior Jesus Christ. Choose to focus on him.

Thats all from me yall, thanks for reading
