Aug 31, 2022: I thought you had Keys...

 Hello everyone! How's it going out there in the states? Hope everything is just chilling! These last couple weeks have been super amazing! I'm excited to tell yall about it. I didn't get around to writing last week cause our pday switched! From Wednesday to Friday! Cause we went to the TEMPLE!


We got to spend some time in the house of the Lord this last week and it was super awesome! I won't talk a ton about it but I'll just say that it was definitely one of the best experiences on my mission so far for myself spiritually. Also that temple is super beautiful and it was just so awesome in every way

The other big event this week was MISSION TOUR! Elder Nash, the executive director of the entire missionary program, came to our mission and we had 4 days of meetings with him that were absolutely amazing! That man is definitely called of God. 100%

Other than these things we've had a great week with the members! We've been really focusing on them to have them help us during lessons and minister more one to another so that the people they come to church can really feel loved in every way possible! We've had some great times this week and great memories made for sure!

Other Random things were this week when we showed up for the church for an activity but nobody who was there had the keys!! Everyone had forgotten them or loaned them to other members so that was a big laugh for sure! Also this week we had a pizza night with a member and let me tell you, people from the northeast here are WILD haha. Also we have been finding killer people and teaching tons of amazing lessons! Pray for us to keep teaching!!

  Hello friends and family happy Monday! I hope you're all doing super well. Sorry about not getting an email out last week, but I'll try to recapitulate what I missed. Also a fair warning that the emails might be a bit shorter than they have been but I promise to send a monster when I get home. These last two weeks have been full of miracles and some good times, so ima just give a lightning round! LIGHTNING ROUND We had 2 of the best lunches of my mission last week. The first was a churrasco with some members from the south that was delicious. The second was humongous beef filets with mashed potatoes. May 8, 2023: Week of exchanges

  Hello my friends! How're you all doing??? Hope you're week cause I'm doing great here in Barreto, RJ! This week we had some great times and saw some awesome miracles that I want to talk about! So let's just get right into the email and talk! PDAY On the Mish whenever I can I like to do hikes for pday. 10/10 would recommend it has been awesome! Thus week we did one called pedra do elefante! And it was super awesome yall should take the time to do it EXCHANGE #1 My first exchange was with Elder Brito we spent 2 days getting on the grind together and it was fun! We found a ton of people, taught some great lessons and taught English class too! The most memorable moment was when we gave a lesson to a group of people about keeping the sabbath day holy! We had one friend of ours leave the room saying under his breath "this has to be the true church there's no other option" and it was really really cool. Apr 24, 2023: Scavenger Hunt 2.0

 So there's a list of names and addresses of members in our ward. But this list is at least 5-10 years old. Our bishop was a bit worried about this, so we offered to help a little bit! And let's just say it's been probably the biggest scavenger Hunt of my life hahahaha.  With a little map and a ton of effort we've been able to find and teach many many inactive members. It has been really awesome not going to lie. We have lots and lots of desire to help these people return to activity in the church and help them continue along the covenant path! Anyway let's highlight some of the best moments! EXCHANGESSS This week I has the opportunity to stay with a brand new missionary Elder de Jesus! It was way fun haha. We actually got our phone stolen on that day too so that was an interesting story, but after that we just went out with paper and pencil and went finding.
