Feb 23, 2022: A tale of two cities

 Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well! I know it's kinda weird for yallnto be randomly getting ab email on Wednesday but here we are, so it's what I've got hahah. But anyways this week was really really good and it had a lot of good stuff that happened. Unfortunately I don't remember all of it but if I did the email would probably be really really long so its probably good I don't remember hahah. But anyways, I'll get to it! 


The first city

So funnily enough, the first city of the email isn't even in my area haha. But anyways this week we started off in Macaé, cause last pday was zone pday and the day after was zone conference so we just stayed down there the night and that was fun! Zone Conference was great I'll give a breif thought from that as my spiritual thought today. But it's always fun to see other missionárys and things like that


The Second city

My city hahha Macabu is a blast. Everyone knows everyone and we're talking to a lot of people! We even got in the newspaper so that was really cool hahah. I don't have a ton of stuff to say this week honestly but it was awesome. 

The third city

We also walked like 5 miles to the middle of nowhere to do some contacting inactive members so that was fun and also a lot of walking but its funny.

Spiritual thought.

I loved a thought from my president in zone conference. He talked about the atonement. One thing he said was the atonement is like a cabin in the woods. One side you can look and see a beautiful lake. Another you can look and see the forest stretching to the horizon. Another you can look and see the sunset over the mountain. Everywhere you look, it is beautiful and perfect. But it is different in every aspect. It is 100% different and 100% perfect and whatever way you look at it, you will be blessed! So take some time to learn about the atonement yall!

  Hello friends and family happy Monday! I hope you're all doing super well. Sorry about not getting an email out last week, but I'll try to recapitulate what I missed. Also a fair warning that the emails might be a bit shorter than they have been but I promise to send a monster when I get home. May 8, 2023: Week of exchanges

  Hello my friends! How're you all doing??? Hope you're week cause I'm doing great here in Barreto, RJ! This week we had some great times and saw some awesome miracles that I want to talk about! So let's just get right into the email and talk! PDAY On the Mish whenever I can I like to do hikes for pday. 10/10 would recommend it has been awesome! Thus week we did one called pedra do elefante! And it was super awesome yall should take the time to do it EXCHANGE #1 My first exchange was with Elder Brito we spent 2 days getting on the grind together and it was fun! We found a ton of people, taught some great lessons and taught English class too! The most memorable moment was when we gave a lesson to a group of people about keeping the sabbath day holy! We had one friend of ours leave the room saying under his breath "this has to be the true church there's no other option" and it was really really cool. Apr 24, 2023: Scavenger Hunt 2.0

 So there's a list of names and addresses of members in our ward. But this list is at least 5-10 years old. Our bishop was a bit worried about this, so we offered to help a little bit! And let's just say it's been probably the biggest scavenger Hunt of my life hahahaha.  With a little map and a ton of effort we've been able to find and teach many many inactive members. It has been really awesome not going to lie. We have lots and lots of desire to help these people return to activity in the church and help them continue along the covenant path! Anyway let's highlight some of the best moments! EXCHANGESSS This week I has the opportunity to stay with a brand new missionary Elder de Jesus! It was way fun haha. We actually got our phone stolen on that day too so that was an interesting story, but after that we just went out with paper and pencil and went finding.
