Feb 27, 2022: What are the odds!?!?!
Hello everyone happy monday! Basically our pday switched tô Monday again after being wednesday for a long long time. But always here I am again! It's awesome to be able to be here and writing to you guys again! These last few weeks have been good!
18 months!!!
This week I actually hit a big landmark on my mission of 6 months until I get home! It was super wild to think how fast it has passed, and I am more than a bit nervous thinking how little I have left! But I know God's in control and it'll all be great!!
The end of last transfer
Last transfer was a bit of a doozy for me, but through the last few weeks it was quite good! We worked a lot and even though we weren't able to find a ton of new people, it was a great time. We had another flood that we actually got stranded and had to walk in water up to our knees to get to the other elders house cause we were so far away from home! It was a wild ride but it all went well in the end.
The new dynasty (same as the old)
To my surprise with transfers, this transfer I got put back with my 2nd trainer, Elder Siqueira!! This is his last transfer on the mission so I'm going to literally be his last companion! I got really Excited, cause it was a great time the last time we were comps! And it's been a great start! Walking a lot, visiting a ton of members, laughing together and having a great time! We're gonna have a great transfer!
Spiritual thought!!!
Well everyone, this week I pondered on a question. When is it necessary to keep the commandments and when is it not?? I thought and thought, and I came to a conclusion. In 1 Nephi 3:7 it says that the Lord doesn't give any commandment without giving a way to keep the commandment. So that means that we've got to keep them ALL OF THE TIME It can be hard, it can be tiring, BUT thats why we have the gift of the atonement! BUT we know that when we keep the commandments we will prosper in the land. So keep them.
Love you all lots! Have a great week!!!
