July 20, 2022: All good things come to an end...

Hi yall happy Wednesday! Hope yall are having the best week! This week was pretty baller here in Conceição de Macabu! Were really getting the grind on this week cause after 6 months here, this will probably be My last week here in Conceição! It's actually rather sad for me, I've grown so close to the people and the culture and the church here in the city, it will be super hard to leave. But I know that the work here is really going to start going into overdrive this week and the next few weeks with the new missionary here! This week we've seen some amazing progress with some amazing people and I know it'll just keep getting better!

THE PEOPLE
Figured I could give an update for yall on some of the people you can pray for here in the area and an update of how they're doing! First off this week with Wesla was great. There were a few weeks that she kinda stopped progressing but on Sunday and Monday we had some amazing lessons with her and she is now reading the book of Mormon with determination and dedication to find the answers she is looking for for herself and her family! I'm super excited for this one!
Vanessa and her family are doing great! They're all reading the book of Mormon individually and as a family every single day, and are all sure that it's the word of God! They are super ready for baptism, just a little fear that's keeping them from making the commitment, but any day know they'll be able to overcome that fear!
Josi is someone that we found about a month ago and she has progressed am absolute ton! We've taught the lessons at record pace, and she's absolutely killed all the commitments that we've given to her! Tomorrow we're going to invite her to be baptized here in 2 weeks after she's been able to go to church 2 times.
Inicius is a friend of a member from another ward, but he's come to church every time for about a month! The only problem is that he seems to always be busy for us to teach him haha! But today we're going to make the trek out to his house and teach him what he needs to be doing! I'm really excited
Wander, João Gabriel, Poliana, Kevin, Vinicius, Glais, Ana Carolina, Luana, Erik, Luan, and Pedro Lucas are all our friends who are currently reading and praying about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith and we're constantly trying to mark other days for us to teach teach, so if yall can pray that we get the chance to teach these people and they can receive answers to their prayers, that would be awesome!
But all in all, I am super happy with the miracles that the lord has allowed me to play a part in since I've been here! I know that each and every one of these people here have such an open heart to know more that they will be able to feel the spirit testifying that it's true!

THE FUN STUFF
Now that we've got the long part out of the way this week had some pretty fun experiences too! We're grinding out a list of inactive members to get the updated addresses, I feel like I'm doing the world largest and most complicated jigsaw puzzle haha. We had an awesome exchange! I stayed here with our ZL Elder Nogueira, he's an amazing missionary! He knows how to teach like none other! I learned a heccka lot with him
Yesterday was super crazy, we got to teach 6 lessons and 5 of them were with our pesquisadores progressing! So that was absolutely amazing. Today we were gonna go on a hike but the Person who owns the hike said that the cows are really mean up there so... Also we officially ran out of materials here, idk how were even gonna get more haha. Also me and Elder de Jesus almost broke our record of walking we got about 20k of walking one day. It was whack. But the grind is real guys, diligent work brings blessings!

I really think that's about it from the week, the spiritual thought this week is kinda included with the people progressing, which is that the lord can do miracles. We read Mormon 9 with an investigator this week and it really touched me how they showed that God is a God of miracles even until today! I know that this is true cause I see it every single day! God will never stop being a God of miracles!

Anyways I love you all lots! Stay with God!
Elder Bradshaw

I didn't take a lot of pics this week haha
I'll do better on the next one. :)
