Sept 4, 2021: Questions about the Visa Process... Week 2 at the CTM!

Olá amigos e amigas! The days are long but the weeks are short! I can say that with certainty now, cause I am 1/3 of the way done with the home MTC and it has shot by like a rocket! Each day is a whirlwind of emotions, spiritual moments, and Portuguese words at this point and I am having a great time through all of it.

Português (Part 2)

Guys, I have come to realize that Portuguese is just the best language in the world. Each day we are learning more and more in Portuguese. The more I learn, the more I want to keep learning and learning until I know it all. Buuuut then I blasted back to reality and realize I still have a long way to go. But that is ok because I know that with the Lord's help, I will get there!!! It is a hard process, but it is a good one for me.

Ombro Deslocado??

For anyone who bothered to plug that into google translate, yep that just happened!! On Thursday evening I was playing baseball with my little brother and I managed to dislocate my shoulder while playing! Fortunately it popped right back in, but it still hurt pretty bad. 😂 All of Friday I alternated between icing and keeping it up in a sling to use it as little as possible, but this morning a miracle happened. I woke up this morning and all the pain in my shoulder was gone. It still feels a little stiff, but I know that it was a miracle that helped it heal so quickly.

Quarta-feira

Wednesday was a crazy day relating to my future on a mission! As you guys may have noticed, I have been naming my emails after other emails I have received that week, and this week on Tuesday it really kicked into gear. Tuesday I got an important email from the Salt Lake travel office telling me that I was cleared to finish my visa and send it to Salt Lake for processing. So hopefully they can send it on to the Brazil Consulate in Los Angeles soon! Everyone pray for the consulate to fully open soon so that the visas can be processed as quickly as possible! But in the meantime... ALSO on Wednesday I got a call from my stake president, President Bird. He told me that I had received a reassignment from a member of the quorum of the 12 apostles! I am temporarily reassigned to serve in the Manchester, New Hampshire Mission!!! I am beyond excited to serve in New England, and teach of Christ. (I am not however excited for some of the coldest weather in the US. 😂

Well that's pretty much it for me this week! I love you all so much and I want you all to know that I love Jesus Christ!! He is my Savior and Redeemer, and I know of a surety that he atoned for me and died for me, and for you too. We are never alone because Christ knows everything!!

Love you all!
